Special activities and fun events for all ages
Recent activities include
- Friday night lock-in for all kids ages preschool through junior high – activities included making pizza, crafts, games, movies, and cookie baking
- Trip to Sky Zone in Sioux Falls.
- Trip to Minneapolis to attend a Twins game and worship at an African American congregation. Members of this congregation later visited us.
- Tubing at Great Bear Recreational Area.
- Planting flowers at church and at Sunrise Village and raking lawns for the elderly.
Opportunities to attend camp at Shetek Lutheran Ministries
Luther League
- An organization of High School age kids
- Easter breakfast – high school aged kids and their parents prepare and serve each year
- Buying gifts for the Angel Tree at Christmas and going out for pizza.
- National Youth Gathering – held every 3 years
